Looking back over the past twenty eight years, most of my adult life
Once kids were in junior high school, I am very thankful we don’t really have any foresight at all. Lucky people think they do. They make plans and then believe it’s their positive attitude or own serene powers that created their ongoing good fortune, health, financial stability. What arrogance when these blessed people relate their ‘it’s all good’ stories.
Do they forget that Buddha tried to create strategies to make the suffering of life bearable? Or is it that the more suffering you endure, the larger and more vast your own heart grows, encompassing and humbling.
